Those further afield who want to join us for some tasty beers and stupid chat, we’ve got three Tap Takeover x Meet The Brewer events taking place in the next couple of weeks 😍
Thursday 30th November: come see us at @moldalehouse for the first pour outside of our own taproom of Darkside Of The Frozen Moon!
Friday 1st December: we’re at @thatbeerplacehq Chester for a mammoth TTO all evening, as well as the debut of a hefty new NEIPA… 👀
Thursday 7th December: we’re over in that there London at @thecarpentersarmse2 for the DEBUT of our very first cask ale and 4 other lines!
We love getting to share our beers with our industry friends, and propping up a bar and chatting with fellow beer folk ❤️ if you want to see us at your local craft beer business, give them (and us!) a shout!
Brand new and pouring at the taproom from this weekend: it’s our newest beer!
Anyone who’s spoken to any of the Rabble for longer than about 30 seconds will be well aware of our shared love of a pint of delicious lager. Crisp, clean, refreshing, moreish, and truly suited to all days of the year.
This is our first brew of Frozen Moon, which is to be our core lager and therefore pretty much a permanent fixture at the taproom. A faithful and reliably delicious pint. We are insanely happy with how it’s turned out. In cans to take away by next week!
Do you want to drink a tasty lager with plenty of Munich, Cara and Rye malt to add a light spice, sweetness and biscuit to Noble Hallertau bitterness?
On FRIDAY 3RD at the taproom we’re welcoming old friend and award-winning bartender Sam Moseley of The Golden Pineapple of Ship Street, Brighton to show off his skills with a range of cocktails from 5pm, starring bespoke signature espresso martini with Herne The Hunter, our Tartarus collab imperial stout ☕️🖤
We’re also bringing back DJ Leano to soundtrack the evening from 8pm, revisiting for the first time since our launch night back in August!
Join us on Friday to kick back with a cocktail or a beer (or both, we don’t judge) and party into the evening!
This week, to commemorate our first Halloween at the brewery (and the installation of our big screen, on which we are very much enjoying watching some black and white silent classics), we’re releasing not one but TWO new beers.
First off, we welcome Zebracorn to the family! We don’t know exactly how a Zebracorn came into existence, though it’s probably NSFW.
This beauty pours a thick hazy yellow with heaps of sweet stone fruit character, a touch of pineapple zing and bags of body.
Citra and Idaho 7 bring you a NEIPA that just begs to be drunk by the pint while fantasising of warmer days.
This is our first bigger hazy boy, and it’s exactly what we were aiming for!
Following that, we introduce a little bit of chaos, a soupçon of havoc… Tiny Violence is our first in-house dark beer. It’s bold and rich, and it demands you drink it now. Roasted dark malts convey intense cocoa powder flavours and evoke memories of your favourite decadent chocolate truffle.
Just watch out for your toes peeking out from under the covers…
Thursday 26th will see the release of something juicy… and on Friday night, Halloween kicks off big style. Alongside first ever pours of yet another new beer will be a costume contest, spooktacular playlist and vintage horror flicks on a newly installed projector.
Oh – and Alex found a fog machine… Wonderful. 😅
Then, our Halloween festivities continue on Saturday 28th from 1pm with LIVE MUSIC from Amp Cats at 3pm, seeing you through a festive afternoon of fancy dress and fresh tasty beer.
And for the whole weekend we’ll be judging you on your best costumes, snapping some pics for the socials, and we’ll be choosing a winner on Sunday. What do you win? Beer! A free box of Indie Rabble beers no less. Neat.
One last note. Saturday the 28th Evening will be closed for a private booking, so make sure you get all of your ‘weening on during Friday Eve and Saturday afternoon. We kick out at 6pm. Sunday’ll be back open as usual.
In the meantime we’re open as normal this weekend, so we will see you at the bar!
We’re just coming off the back of our first big event at the arch, our joint Oktoberfest event with neighbours Two Flints! There were beers, there was bratwurst, there were lederhosen, and a wonderful time was had by all.
We also debuted our THIRD in-house brew – “Fest” – aptly named – is a kölsch-style lagered beer that pours a delightful deep gold with that lovely soft foam we all absolutely love 😍 it’s bready and biscuity with a light note of spice and a deliciously refreshing finish.
We still have cans of it available to take away at the bar, as well as on keg at the bar. Prost!
